How seating works and which limits apply to tables and players.
The seating system lets you create tables, assign seats, auto-seat players, and manage seating changes while the tournament is in progress.
Use seating to turn a list of registered players into a live table plan. It helps you decide where everyone sits, keep tables balanced as players bust out, and stay organised when the room changes during the event.
Create the tables you need, decide how many seats each table should have, and get players into seats before the first hand.
Move players, unseat late arrivals, reserve seats, break tables, or build a final table as the event gets smaller.
The seating view gives hosts and trusted staff a single place to manage the room instead of tracking changes manually.
As more tables are added, seating becomes the tool that keeps the tournament orderly and easy to adjust.
Each table also has its own management controls. These are useful when you need to work table by table instead of changing the whole seating layout at once.
Limited to 1 table per tournament and 9 players per tournament.
Remove the table and player caps for larger events and more flexible seating.
If you want table-level staff controls, see the separate article on Table Management and Table Admins for the full list of delegated permissions and actions.
If you hit a plan limit while adding tables or players, the app will show an upgrade prompt explaining which cap you reached.
