A league groups tournaments into a single competitive season. Standings are calculated across every tournament in that league.
The platform uses leagues as the container for tournament history, scoring, and leaderboard views. That is why every tournament must belong to one.
On the Free plan, a club can create one league. Creating another league needs Premium.
If you later downgrade from Premium, the club keeps every league it already has and can keep running tournaments in any of them, with one active tournament per league at a time.
