How to associate a real email with a no-email guest, and what changes for that player once you do.
When you add a player to a tournament without entering an email address, The Club House creates a guest member record that is bound to your club only. This player has no login, no account, and no way to receive notifications. Their history exists, but it is managed entirely by you.
You can edit their name and profile photo at any time from the Members page. But because there is no account attached, no one else can claim or manage that record.
The platform checks whether an account already exists for that email address.
In both cases, the guest record is replaced by a proper member entry and all tournament history in the club is preserved.
While a player remains a no-email guest, you can freely update their name and profile photo from the Members page. No other profile changes are available β and only club owners and admins can access the edit option.
