Getting Started

Creating Your First Club

How your first club is created and how the default-league setup works on Free.

Creating a club

From the dashboard, choose Create Club and enter the basic details for your new club.

Using the setup wizard

The first-club flow is designed as a guided wizard so you can do the key setup in one pass instead of jumping between screens later.

  • Club Details β€” choose the club name and basic setup.
  • League Setup β€” create the first league that tournaments will live inside.
  • Invite Players β€” add email addresses for the people you want to bring into the club.
  • Review β€” confirm the setup before the club is created.

What happens on Free

On the Free plan you can own 1 club. The setup wizard also creates the club's starting default league.

That matters because Free accounts can only create and manage tournaments inside the club's current default league. If you later upgrade and then downgrade, other leagues remain visible but become read-only for Free-plan tournament actions.

Inviting guests during setup

The wizard includes an invite step so you can send invitations before you even land in the club. This is useful if you already know who your regular players are and want the club ready for them immediately.

Those invite emails are sent as part of the club creation flow. If some players are not ready yet, you can skip that step and invite them later from the Members area.

Default club setup

Clubs are created as private by default. After creation you can start inviting players, create tournaments, and configure branding or other settings that your plan allows.

Plan-aware limits

  • Free β€” 1 owned club
  • Premium β€” up to 3 owned clubs
  • Enterprise β€” configurable, typically unlimited
