Fixing Mistakes in Player Records

How to correct the wrong elimination, rebuy, add-on, or finishing position.

When to use player editing

Use the player edit tools when someone was eliminated by mistake, when a rebuy or add-on was recorded incorrectly, or when a finishing position needs to be corrected.

What you can edit

  • Player status
  • Rebuy count
  • Add-on count
  • Knocked-out level
  • Knocked out by
  • Prize amount
  • Finishing position

If the wrong player was eliminated

  1. Open the player edit screen.
  2. Change the player back to Playing.
  3. Save the update.

When a player is moved back to Playing, the elimination data is cleared automatically, including knockout details and prize values.

If the wrong rebuy or add-on was recorded

  1. Open the same player edit screen.
  2. Adjust the Rebuy or Add-on count to the correct number.
  3. Save the change.

This is the safest way to fix an incorrect table-side entry without changing unrelated tournament data.

If the finishing order is wrong

You can update the player position, but this is a higher-impact change. Position edits can shift other players as well, especially around paid places.

The editor shows a preview when the position change will affect other players or move someone into or out of the money.

Important caution

  • Changing a position can affect the entire tournament ranking.
  • Prize amounts can change when positions change.
  • If you are fixing a live mistake, correct it as soon as possible so later actions do not compound the error.
